The outdoor environment is an important extension of the classroom. Children have daily opportunities to experience the outdoors with structure, purpose, and play. They will take part in our community garden by planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting. They can dig, sweep, ride on trikes, play in the sandbox, explore on the hill, and enjoy climbing, swinging, and sliding on the playground equipment.
“The land is where our roots are. Children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the Earth.”
