The outdoor environment is our classroom. We have a large yard with endless possibilities. Children have daily opportunities to experience the outdoors with structure, purpose, and play. They take part in our community garden by planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting. They run, dig, sweep, ride on trikes, play in the sand kitchen, climb on the dome, observe the chickens, build, and create. We also have a large play structure for climbing, swinging, and sliding.
“The land is where our roots are. Children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the Earth.”
